Do any of you people offer office cleaning as a side line or as a main line of work and carpet cleaning as the tie in?

Just want to know, thinking of doing some office cleaning to make a little $$.

it's been my bread and butter for 13 years.

stick with carpet cleaning, MUCH more money. as long as you can find the work.

I picked up the jani side for a large office building that I had already been taking care of the carpets for about a year. They had already been through 3 MMM's and were fed up with the quality of service. 2 Ladies would come in from 5:00 til 9:30 and miss trashcans and just skip things and make an eyesore.

I've been doing it since January and am in the building 2-3 hours tops. That pays me 40.00 to 50.00 bucks an hour. The money is gravy and takes care of all my bills monthly. It's very worth it EXCEPT for the fact that it needs to be done EVERY day (M-F), after awhile that becomes a large thorn in the side. Having to pay workmans comp and then on top of that paying an employee really starts to cut into the money really fast unless you have somemore jani work (been there). My suggestion is do it until you have your finances straight, then drop it when you are comfortable.
