Success With Sisal?

June 21 2006 at 11:50 AM
John Long

Had a good rug client ask one of our techs about her sisal rug yesterday.

A good friend gave me some advice designed to save me some misery I'm sure..."try to get out of it!"

Anyway, I respect his advice, and we aren't on the hook to do it, but I know this is not going away as long as we serve this level of clientele. So...anyone have any successes or war stories to share?

Thanks,
John L.

unless you evenly wet the rug and dry the rug it will shrink or pull from the backing.

Submerge cleaning is the best way but you have to know what you are doing.
Walking is the best answer, possibly refering them to someone who does them on a regular basis,or bring the rug to the company who does them
