Releasit sample

I tested the sample of Releasit against Encapuclean five days ago. First I pured a small amount of each in two saucers and the next day the Releasit had an outstanding crystal formation that was very brittle. The Encapuclean did crystalize somewhat but it was not near as brittle. Neither chemical had a sticky residue. Next I encap'd a heavy use commercial breakroom area, one half Releasit the other half Encapuclean. The results looked good with both, to close to call one better then the other. Five days later they both look to be re-soiling & staining the same (this break room gets trashed daily) but i've got to believe that over a longer period of time the Releasit will perform better than the Encapuclean due to the superior crystalizing, only time will tell. I'm hoping that Releasit is the answer for my commercial carpet maintenance program. If this doesn't work I may need to HWE quarterly in the heavy soiling areas.
Any thoughts out there?

Steve

Releasit Sample

I have a similiar situation in a large palce that I clean that serves drinks, finger food in stations throughout and then a large
banquet area for dinner then desert and coffee stations. They are thrilled with the job I and releasit do. However there is continual "dropage" So I clean quarterly not because of it looking dirty but the spots, wine spills, etc. I also have to go in and clean the open areas alot inbetween cleaning due to the above. Sounds like you got a similiar situation. I gety paid for it everytime. I went to the fiber max (grey) pads and it really sped up my time ALOT in this type of account.

Rick, yes we seem to have a similiar situation. Do you use the Cimex? I'm still only using a standard 175 rpm 19" rotary scrubber with 3m carpet pads and or bonnets. The place looks great after cleaning but the spills come daily in the break rooms and commons, plus a lot of tracked in soils at the entries (walk off mats are too small).
I want to buy the Cimex and Releasit system but it's a lot of money if the results arn't clearly noticed by both the operator and customer.

Steve I think that Rick has the Grey pads for the rotary GET THEM ASAP!! They cut my time in my situation by over a THIRD no kidding.
Yes I have the Cimex and love it but I thing you can get good results with the rotary but there is no way around the droppage of food or spilling. You might want to order some of Ricks protector as I have noticed that the spots come up easier.

I've tried & tried to get them to buy the protector and also get better + longer walk off mats but no deal. There are a couple of areas I encap once a week just to keep up with the spills, and please don't get me started on the furniture! HA HA!
I will take your advice and try Rick's gray pads. They sound like they can save me some real time.

Thanks,
Steve
