It it ok to just use Fiber Plus pads with the Punch to encap? or does it need bonnets/ pads to be effective

We spoke with our formulator about making "Double Punch". It seemed like a great idea. So we had a sample formulated. But it didn't work. There is so much of the polymer that the product separated and the polymer coagulated. Hence I don't forese Double Punch coming into existence without a reformulation, and that's not going to happen because the product is a success as it is.

Regarding your second question: You are absolutely OK using Encap-Punch with brushes or FiberPlus pads, in addition to bonnet/pad applications. The only deterrent is that Encap-Punch doesn't foam up very heavily, so it can be a bit more challenging to work with in an encap/shampoo application. However if less foam isn't a problem in your particular application, then there is no problem whatsoever. We've also seen that if you mix Encap-Punch a little stronger than normal, you'll generate enough foam for a typical encap/shampoo method. Encap-Punch is a killer product with excellent cleaning and encapsulation properties, so I can see where you might be interested in using it for encap/shampooing. We have done testing with it as an encap/shampoo product, and if you choose to use it in this capacity I think you're going to like it. Thanks for asking!
