i'm no guru but another possibilty is your plumbing might be getting fouled up with dried up / crystalized Encap.

search the forum for Rick's info on how to clean it out....he has it posted on his site somewhere.

what i do is take near boiling water and dump it in my sol tank. with my Cimex on my sidewalk i then hold the trigger and let all that HOT water drain through my plumbing. i figure several gallons of that cleans anything out. if you have a bucket heater then fill the sol tank up and let the heater sit in it for 30-45 minutes. the water will be bubbling slightly. then let the trigger rip.

another possibility is you are not putting enough solution down and the machine is "dragging" on the drier pads.?.

thanx --- Derek.

Check the floor. Sometimes it is severely uneven. I posted about having difficulty a couple of months ago and received the same advice. However I had just cleaned out the machine. On the next job the machine worked fine. I figured the floor was uneven. Last week I started a job with the Cimex that I normally do with a 300 rpm swing. The Cimex was so difficult to push a switched to the other machine in the middle of the job and had no problem after that.

Good suggestions above.

Clean out your plumbing...

Also spray some WD40 on your axle and wheels.

That should have your problem solved.

You also asked about how to fix the black plastic solution feed elbow. These puppies break off in transport sometimes. The part is inexpensive to replace. However they're a bit of a pain to replace. Plus you're probably just going to break it off again So here's an alternative. Take a straw from a trigger sprayer. Cut approx 3/4" of the straw tube. Push half of the tube down into the black plastic that's still in the deck of the Cimex, leaving half of the tube sticking up from the deck. Then push your hose (with the remaining piece of black plastic inside it) onto the protruding tube. This shims the pieces together. This is the most common way to correct this condition. Everyone does it this way when they break the feed elbow because it's so simple and it works surprisingly well.

thanks, I'll try those directions, the wheels are sometimes hard to push not the brushes, the wd-40 should work.

Rick,

Thanks for that piece of information. My technician "broke" the black connector piece last week. I didn't have the time to look at it and wouldn't have known what to do if I had. Amazingly, I read this thread on Saturday before I had to use the machine and, voila, that was the problem. Quick fix. Amazing.
