CGD Unraveling Help

I have a commercial account that has unraveling carpet at the seams and also where heavy tables are regularly moved. I didn't cause the problem but My rotary encapping isn't helping the situation either. They have no remnant carpet and they don't want it properly repaired. They just want to stop the unraveling.
I have cut the yarns just below the surface with my duckbill shears only to come back a month later to find some of them unraveling again and others starting.
This is a 20,000 sq. ft. monthly maint. account that I don't want to lose. I'm thinking about applying a clear sealer to the ends and attaching them back to the top of the carpet backing.
What would you do?
Have any of you been successful stopping carpet runs without cutting out and replacing the damaged areas?

Thanks,
Steve

Glue Gun

Just add a SMALL drop of hot glue from a glue gun at each point where the carpet is unraveling. Be careful not to make a mess with the glue. Problem solved.

Rick,
That sounds like a great idea. I will give it a try on Saturday.

Thanks,
Steve
