Black Solution Feedthru Question

August 14 2006 at 9:40 PM

From previous posts I see that the black solution hose nipple on the deck is easy to break. Well I broke mine and tried the 3/4 inch of trigger sprayer straw and it didn't work so well. Mine leaks and doesn't sit solid. Rick said this was a pain to fix. How big a pain and where can I order the part? Rick do you have the instructions to replace it that I could get?

Hey Rick,

I can get you the part, that's not a problem.

But... try getting a thicker straw first. It really does work perfectly. Thinner straws won't work, and many cheaper sprayers use thin straws. However beefier sprayers use thicker straws, and these will do the trick nicely. If you try this I think you'l find that it's a very suitable way to fix your machine. And if you need a feed elbow I can get you one, just let me know.
