Is there a second prize, like a DVD player or a really nice fruit basket?
If so I'm in. |

That comes to your grossing $120,000 for your business IF you manage to sell all of the raffle tickets. How did you arrive at this figure? Is it one year's net income? Does it include all equipment, supplies, customer lists, etc? Do you agree in advance to still run the raffle if fewer than all of the chances are sold? |

Mark, It was arrived at by gross net per year. Of course that net will increase over the next 3 years to around $150000 to 160000. Remember when the economy dips, this business increases. It will include immaculate customer files and computer disc, chems, equipment and one 3/4 ton GMC van. additional bldg (23000 sq. ft.) is also available for an additional $260000.00 if needed. This is a 20 year old business with most of the key accounts in this county. And it will not be sold w/o all of the raffle tickets sold. A friend of mine sold most of his pest control company this way (over $700000.00) and he sold more tickets than was needed and had to return some money.

Rambo, Mark is taking the number of tickets times the amount and coming up with the smaller amount. From all that I have seen you post over the years I would guess your business would see for more then you would Raffle it off for.
It looks like you need more tickets or more money per ticket.
Can a person buy all the tickets?

Fred, the amount is about right. Over 3 years ago I sold off 2/3rds of my business and two vans. Our Blind Shoppe is not for sale as it belongs to my son now. I will spell out the details exactly in the next 24 months, I want it to be a bargin for whoever gets it. |
