Hey, I did my own sofa the way we talked about the other night on the phone.

Used the DS and a hand mit bonnet, made up some good foam in a bucket and put a little air king blower on it to dry it.

Worked great.

I owe you big time for all your help and guidence.

Do you think this is the way......

Fritz Von Schrader was cleaning a sofa over 60 years ago when he got the idea to build a machine (now called the Esprit) so he would not have to use a mitt and a bucket to apply the foam to the fabric. His invention has not been copied nor improved upon since. I still marvel at that piece of equipment (I have owned four) Compact, fast, does an excellent job of scrubbing all types of fabric with the couter rotating brushes, warm foam comming out as you work and a vacuum to suck it all back into the little machine. You can work all day w/o filling or dumping. Quite a feat even by todays standards. BTW it works very well with Releasit.

As I told you, there are many ways to clean furniture as well as carpet. That is just one way. Glad to help anytime.

Bought a used Von Schrader upholstery machine years ago. We love it. Safe and effective on many pieces. Sure beats foaming by hand.

Derek,LOL,I have a tennis shoulder and it is no problem for me. There are some ways to position the furniture that really make it easy. Gary Heackock has the best tips that he shares freely.
