Good Commercial Vacuum?

October 9 2006 at 10:51 PM
Steve Manier

Hi,

I'm looking for a good commercial upright vacuum with onboard attachments. I have surfed the net and found alot of choices but not sure wich one to go with. Do I look at amps? watts? cfm? duel motors? some even say they have water lift....I didnt think uprights could pick up water? We do quite a bit of commercial and residential vacuuming so I want a good durable vacuum.....Any suggestions? Names of vacs and a website addy if possible. Thanks

Steve

with attachments?

next question:

do you want bagless or with bag?

with bag (and of course attachments as you've already requested), i would consider Windsor. one thing i like about some of their vac's is, they have replaceable brush strips AND, at least 1 model has 2 or 3 different color brush strips. one color is less aggressive, one color is VERY aggressive.

use Google. also use the search function on the ICS forum. i just started a somewhat similar thread earlier today on ICS.

thanx --- Derek.

LINDHAUS!

First read the comments about the LINDHAUS…

And then read the product description…

We did a LOT OF RESEARCH on commercial vacuum cleaners before deciding to add the Lindhaus vacuum to our product line. (We should have it on the website in the next few days) The Lindhaus is clearly ahead of all other commercial grade vacuums on the market. It has the highest brush roller speed of any commercial vacuum in the industry, so it can do a superior job of brushing the soil up out of the pile. And it has excellent filtration (even without the optional hepa filter). This is the nicest vacuum I’ve ever seen. If you want the Cadillac of commercial vacuums, this puppy is awesome!

The best commercial vac is one you feel comfortable push around for ho wever long you need to be using it.

I dont car how wounderful anyone says any vac is and what gadgets it has on it. If you dont like using it, there is no point in getting it.

My favorites are the Royal commercial lite, its sister MRY 5300

the Royaly commercial with dule motors myr 5500

the Combi vac by clark and the PF 14 by power flite

In German means "clean house" Being a former Lindhaus Dealer, you need to give this vac a serious look.

Vacuums

October 17 2006, 4:51 PM

I have sold vacuums for 11 years now. I have seen good and bad vacuums. The Linhaus is good expensive but good and the machine is top heavy, sebo is a great machine. Hoover conquest is proably the best commerical machine out there, very heavy and clunky and has no tools it just a carpet vacuum. If you can get a hoover concept (home verison of the conquest) now that is a dirt digging out machine. Royal Commerical good no tools.

I have come up with a problem about having a good expensive vacuum. While I was using a $700.00 vacuum to vacuum the carpet before cleaning, the customer says to me "oh the dog wet on the carpet" And i'm vacuuming it up. That was waste of a good vacuum Just a thought. Plus get a good filter on the machine who knows what these people have that you are breathi ng while vacuuming.
