Sometimes they come back

This is related to resi carpet cleaning.
I have noticed that when I do my carpets(in my home) I sometimes get very small spots that show up a few days later. Usually very small maybe pin head or a little bigger. Lighter in color then before I cleaned them but they do come back.

The job I did a few weeks ago the customer told me that some of the spots came back in the one bedroom (of course her son used to clean his shotgun in there and spilt gun oil on the carpet). Nothing major and she told me not to worrie about it but still it bugs me the carpet cleaner.

Is this just the nature of carpet cleaning?

Hi Joe,

I have had one or two over the past year just like that. Cleaned the carpets everyone is happy and then like a week later customer calls and says a couple spots have returned. I was thinking a week later no way, but I go out and take a look--there they are. Touch up and gone.

Then other times clean a filthy carpet with multi-spots and you know these spots are going to come back. Not a one. Go figure.

I use Releasit Ds with synthetic pads and OP machine.
