Where to buy Cimex in Australia/New Zealand ?

Hi Cimex people

Can you please tell me where in Australia/New Zealand I can buy a Cimex ?

At the moment I feel I would be better of with a 15''size - only because it is easier to drag it up the stairs ( 38 kgs). Maybe I am making a mistake of not going straight for 19" ( 40 kgs)

Thank you

George

Big Yella....going up & coming down

November 10 2006, 4:16 AM

Searched back a bit and found this for you.

Please Explain
April 5 2005 at 6:57 PM Shorty (Login ShortyDownUnder)
from IP address 202.14.148.50

I have read with interest, the problems, various operators have moving their Cimex up and down stairs.

I have read about larger wheels, axles and other items to improve the manouverablity.

Not having had one at the time, I was unable to comment.

Now, it is a different story.

I really can't see what all the fuss is about.

I lifted the head of the Cimex to it's vertical position, hooked a bungy strap, (elastic cord with a metal hook at each end), to the lifting handle on the head, and then up to the handle.

This secured the head, (or you may call it the base).

Then I simply pulled the machine up or down the stairs, certainly no more awkward than a floor polisher.

After I did this, I then thought how much easier it would be without the approximately four gallons I had in the tank.

Being slightly older than a few of you guys, (60+), and vertically challenged, has not been a problem for me with 'Big Yella'.

Jees, I just love this machine.

Rick, when are you going to distribute one that cooks???

Cheers,

Shorty.

Yeah, I guess you could say I'm a bit slow, but at least I didn't have to put more juice in the 'Mex; when I did get upstairs. LOL

Now I know better.

Cheers,

Shorty.

PS::: I forgot in this first post, I usually stand side on to the machine, with my left foot one step higher than the right. Prior to pulling up, I take a deep breath & exhale as I lift the machine up.

Going down is simply the reverse.

Watching the weightlifters at the Olympic games gave me the breathing idea.

The fact that I can now scratch my ankles or tie my shoelaces without bending my back or drooping my shoulders is a bonus

Hi George,

IF you want to email me, I'll run down the NZ info for you. I have the 19" model.

I love the Mex for commercial work. It really kicks butt on some jobs but at the same time, I don't want to lead anyone astray in that its the be all and end all of machines. Yes its a great machine but I consider it another tool in my tool box.

In my tool box, I also have a R35 Rotowash, 17" rotary, PowerClean Genesis nd a Prochem Legend.

Do you happen to be an existing Ccer operating in Auckland? Looked recently at a HM3.2, Merzo, Dry Fusion???

I could say more but will hold my peace at this stage.

This is where you can get Cimex Down-Under

November 22 2006, 9:22 AM

G’Day,

It is great to see the interest from Down-Under.

My name is Peter Holt and I am the MD of Truvox International, here in Southampton, UK – producers of the Cimex machines.

I am a regular visitor to both NZ and OZ. In March this year I ran Encap seminars in Auckland, Christchurch, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane. The level of knowledge and enthusiasm was very encouraging - you guys know a good thing when you see it and after North America and the UK you are our best market.

I hope to be back in Feb 2007 visiting Auckland, Christchurch, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth and look forward to meeting with some of you (again) - there were one or two familiar names within the postings.

My own view is, if you can, go for the Cimex 19” machine -the productivity is just so much better.

Rick’s help and inspiration have been of huge help and the rest of it is down to you early adopters.

We have distribution throughout NZ and OZ and our main importers, who can guide you of where to go, are as follows;

New Zealand:
Campbell Proclean (branches in Auckland and Christchurch)
142 Neilson Street
Onehunga
Auckland
New Zealand

Contact: Graham Hill

Australia
Campbell Cleantec

Best wishes to you all
