Buy the 19" instead, unless you are doing very tight areas. I have the 15", and once I tried the 19", it cleaned soooo much better, I think due to the extra weight, and the brushes dont rotate as fast on the 19", allowing it to scrub deeper (I guess!) - ask rick, he will explain it better.

BTW, the Cimex is definitely the BEST investment in my business so far! Pays for itself in a couple of big jobs...

Cimex

November 18 2006, 2:39 PM

Joe is correct the Cimex is the biggest money maker on the truck. It's not the latest thing this has been around for a while Rambo was involved way back when.In my opinion if your in commercial it's the only way to go.

Tommy,

You may want to try encap cleaning with a small rotary first for residential. I use a 15" with a shampoo tank. With Ricks pads and DS/Punch, great results are almost guaranteed! Give that a try and see what you think. The Cimex also works great for residential, but is only practical for the first floor, though a guy down in Australia hauls his all over the place...My business is mainly residential to, but I wouldn't be without the Cimex. Joe, do you take your 15" up stairs in a house? Carpet cleanig equipment is heavy isn't it?

skip the brushes...MAYBE down the road you'll want to try them, otherwise you are better off with pads like the Cimex Bonnets.

thanx --- Derek.

Tommy, if you are mainly residential, the 15" would do fine w/pads. I have owned all the sizes that Cimex make or used to make, but today only use the 15" and 19" On residential I prefer the CRB machines (and so do my customer/clients) I currently have 4 CRB machines(2- 20" and 2- 15")as we are about 55% residential 45% commercial as of last week, but it keeps changing. My lastest CRB machine is the TM-Pro-X,20" it is a CRB on steriods, weighs 52lbs. has 3 speeds and cleans fast. It also eliminates the need for vacuuming (pre or post) with the renovators on. It is made in Austria by the same company that makes the Pilemaster and the Whittakers.

Tommy, I like them both but mainly use the Cimex for commercial work. The web addy is; smart-cleaning-solutions.com and click on 'exsisting carpet cleaners' and then 'brush and clean/accessories' and you will see the TM-Pro

Ray, I like your Pro

Does it have a solution tank ??

If not, do you use a pump sprayer or battery/electric sprayer ??

Could not find these details on the web site.

Thanks,

Tommy this product or a like product is sold by Rick G the OWNER of this website/forum/ and seller of releasit the best Encap juice going (in my opinion). I was in your situation 2 years ago, I called Rick he helped me a
great deal in making a decision based on what I was going to be doing. Also he is the Master of Encapping and can give you all the tips and tricks to get off to a great start. I suggest you call Rick monday and talk to him about Encapping what ever and he will steer you straight and only sell you the right product. TM-Pro X Availablity

November 20 2006, 8:28 AM

Shorty, right now I am pre-spraying ahead of the TM-Pro with a Multi-sprayer but Jim England has developed a tankless sprayer that stays 50' away and is fed to the sprayer on the unit thru a clear plastic 3/8" tube and is attached to the power cord to keep from adding anymore weight to the unit. It weighs 53 lbs. and seem to be the correct weight for a CRB and is very manageable. They are in the final testing of this tankless sprayer and will be available soon. Rick does not sale this unit at this time.

Actually we are a distributor for all 3 of the Austrian made machines...
The 15" PileMaster the 20" PileMaster and the PileMaster Pro series.

We're not actually selling the Pro series yet because there are some modifications currently being done to them by the manufacturer. However we expect them to be available around the first of the year.

Rick, did you forget the 10" machine? That is the one Molly Maids are using here as they are moving into residential carpet cleaning and charging $25 a room.
