Has anyone heard about "Power Selling" by Chuck Violand, and if it's a good package to buy for commercial sales? It's around $1,000 so I want to do a little research before buying it...

Joe, I attended a Chuck Violand seminar in Florida a few years ago, and he is good, but so is $1000.00 is your pocket. Chucks main thrust is to get in front of the decision maker, dressed in a shirt and tie (not your favorite cut-offs and tennis shoes) and do a demo. IMHO you will get some of the best advice for commercial selling from Rick G. right here. Call him. and keep your $$$.

I bought the program. It is all about getting in front of the client. It provides a lot of well thought out advice and structure to the process that helps give you more confidence. It includes a lot of sample forms to help you put together a first class proposal. If it only helps you land 1 or 2 accounts, wouldn't it be worth it?

I've seen it on Ebay a couple times for about half price.

Howard Partridge has some excellent products that help build your business whether it is residential or commercial. Joe, i do what Ray suggested all day long. it is easy if you are willing to work to get to that point.

i don't have the fancy paper work that the "guru's" have, but i print nice stuff on my pc that i do get compliments for. and since i have seen your work, i know you are well capable.

call me anytime, not a guru but i'm cheap...if you lived close enough i'd let you buy a beer or 3 :P
