what juices have you run through the Cimex

Good day all. (first time reader first time poster)

I have only run the Cimex once and was totally impressed with the results using Releasit.

At the same time I immediately thought "I wonder what my old shampoo would do with this machine" as I'm sure many of you thought the first time you heard of this machine as well.

Let me be clear, I was not thinking about this because of the price of any solution as I do not know the prices. Rather simply because my shampoo label reads something like “shampoo the carpet allow to dry to a crystal then vacuum next day” So isn’t that the same as Releasit?

Or would you say Releasit really IS different from all the shampoos in the past?

Thanks for your help.

there's really NO way any of us would know. try it yourself on some trashed area that it won't do damage, i guess.

i only use actual Encap products like Encap Clean. i wouldn't use something else like you are asking. that is, unless i had some sitting around and was curious.

no one can honestly answer this for you, you need to try it for yourself.

thanx --- DDerek.

The polymer technology has advanced since the "old school" shampoos, The old shampoos did a fairly dismal job of encapsulating soil and effectively releasing from the fiber. In fact the poor performance of the old shampoos opened the door for hot water extraction to gain a foot-hold in the industry 40 years ago. The old shampoos simply couldn't cut it. As a contrast though, good encap chemistry is reversing things. Today encap is replacing a lot of the HWE cleaning, and it's providing superb results. The better performance is attributed to the newer chemistry that's now available. Where old shampoos promised, yet failed -- Releasit delivers pleasing performance on a regular basis

Thanks for the info.
I'm new here and new to cimex but been in the biz since late 80's.

OK
here is something from one of the BIG manufactures web site of their "shampoo"

________________________________________________________________________

Dry, crisp residue

When the carpet is dry, any remaining residue dries to a crisp solid. This ensures that when the carpet is vacuumed after cleaning all of the residue will be removed.

you have to admit, it does sound like encap.

Derek
I don't quite get your answer.
I'm asking what people have tried in their Cimex not "what works"
How can I answer what others have used...LOL only they know.
So even if it did not work, I'm still curious what they have tried.

sorry if I worded the question to confuse anybody.
