Power Strip / Surge Protector...any danger?

December 9 2006 at 9:17 PM
Derek

we all see this alot...cleaning under a desk and the old power strip is in the way.

i always wonder if a spray of foam / liquid slings out from under the 'Mex and hits an outlet, am i going to get fried? or will the handles protect me? could there be any damage to the strip or any adjoined computers?

or am i the only one to think about these kids of things?

worry-wart --- Derek.

Hey Bro. Worry -Wart , , I doubt you would do any harm to yourself, however the possibility exists to "short out " and trip circuit breakers if you sprayed enough solution to fill some of the receptacles.
I think it pays to be careful around any electrical device.
