Cimex or Challenger to clean Ceramic Tile?

December 10 2006 at 12:18 AM
Derek

have a commercial ceramic tile cleaning demo coming up for one of my comm CC'ing clients.

not sure if i wanna use my Challenger with T&G brush, or Cimex. would prefer to use Cimex because it covers more ground. but i've never used the 'Mex on ceramic tile. what pads and cleaning solutions can i use with it?

or would the Challenger be smarter? if so, again, what solutions?

i'm not sealing anything, just scrubbing and that's it.

thanx --- Derek.

Hey Bro.

I just did a hotel lobby the other day. I used the cimex with white nylon brushes to apply and scrub. We have tried pads before, but they don't get in the grout lines good enough for us and the white nylon seems to work because the bristles will flex and and get in and dig the dirt out. After we scrubbed with the mex, we used the challenger with ordinary cotton pads to pick up and boy did that work great. The job turned out awesome.

We use punch with a bit of sodium percarbonate as our solution and that seemd to work as good as anything we've tried in the past.

Keep smiling

Derek,
in my opinion the grout brushes are more aggresive and you will definately see the difference.

You'd need the 4805 brushes for T&G
