Teflon Advanced & Releasit question

December 15 2006 at 8:26 PM
Steve

A new commercial customer asked about fiber protector after cleaning.
I will be using my Cimex & Releasit and this would be the 1st time appplying fiber protector (Teflon Advanced)after this cleaning method.
My question is, will the protector mess with the crystalization process?

I'm just curious, why not use SOILEZE, a protector that is specifically formulated to work in conjunction with Releasit.

Rick has painstakingly perfected the encapsulation chemistry. I'm sure that it doesnt take much to knock it out of whack.

Thanks for the reply Richard,
Well, like I said this would be the 1st time that I would be applying a protector to a commercial carpet using the Cimex & releasit as the cleaning method. Until now I hadn't heard of Soileze, thanks for giving me the heads up on it.
I NOW see that Rick sales it for $90 per case, that sounds like a great price. What is the dilution rate?
I have over 10 gals. of Teflon Advanced that I use on my residential cleaning and I have used it several times on commercial "extraction cleaning" jobs but I hadn't used it in any other applications and that's why I asked the question.

Thanks for your help,
Steve

Steve, here is a link to a few threads down. Rick discusses the dilution rate of SOILEZE. I like using it because it comes ready to use so I know its mixed properly and is made to work with Releasit. You may not be aware that Releasit actually has some SOILEZE mixed in with it. I think it helps the encapsulation crystals release easily.
