change your bags often. make sure your drain plug stays secure.

Start closest to your water source and work away from it. pre spray aggitate then extract. Prespray as big or an area as you think you can get to with out it drying out.

Test areas before you prespray. Spray plain water down first if you get a foaming mess just put down plain water (HOT) then aggitate and extract.

We have been running and distributing Demons since they sold the orignal versions, this should be a good start for you. If you need any help feel free to call I have seen just about everything that could happen to those machines.

Mostly due to the fact that I have seen it happen to me while testing new modles outs

Thanks, Dave. Will do. By trying an area before prespray to see if it foams up, does that mean there is soap in the carpet? What should be done, should i some how add Defoamer to the prespray mix?

If you spray plain water into a carpet and it foams up, YES that means there is soap redidue in the carpet. What to do? I continue to spray plain water down then aggitate the carpet and extract with out using any prespray. There is enough allready in the carpet no sense in putting more down. Use what is there already.

Remember when it comes to cleaning carpets the first chemical applied is the last one to come out and the last chemical applied is the first to come out.
By adding more chemicals into the mix you will get yours out and some of what has been left behind but you will get less out by adding your mix.

If you are going to add defoamer to your mix the only one I know of that will not mess with your chemicals is Cross Americans defoamer.

Always remember to bring plenty of defoamer to any job you are extracting.
Tip if you pour a bunch of defoamer into the inlet of the Demon that has those filter bags at the start of a job it the defoamer will coat the bag this will kill the foam for a while and make life easier
