Does any one not want to.....

I made a post for a CMA a couple weeks ago and nobody responded. Does any one know what I mean or maybe no one uses a CMA? Here it is again. Please respond!

In the ICS Cleaning Specialist December 2006 issue page 24-26, Beating the Wintertime Blues Part 2 talked about if the DM say's yes to a proposal you bring out your CMA. What exactly is a CMA, I know it is a Carpet Maintenance Analysis sheet. Does anyone have an example of one on hand? Please explain here and may send me some samples to me e-mail.

Thanks

Carpet Inspection Form

January 2 2007, 3:06 PM

This is a simple form you can make yourself.

In our company we've always referred to it as a carpet inspection form.
Here are some of the items you'd likely want to include in a typical inspection form:

Walk off mats
Exterior soil conditions
Vacuum cleaner inspection
Traffic lane condition
Carpet wear condition
Approximate range of carpet life
Recurring spill stains
Overall soil condition
Frequency of current cleaning
Method of current cleaning
Recommendations for improved care

By using a carpet inspection form it makes you "the expert". When you go to a doctor he doesn't just automatically write you a prescription. He begins by asking you a series of questions. It's called a diagnosis. Similarly, by providing a diagnosis for their carpet, you're not just a carpet cleaner. You're now someone who cares about their investment and you're demonstrating your ability to appraise that investment and provide the best care for it.

So make up a simple Carpet Inspection Form and include it when you evaluate a new account.
