i used 2/3 of a bottle of encap spot on an area about 2ft.X 4ft.
and a cocoa spill. it didn't look like it was coming clean so thats why i used so much. but the cocoa stain was still light brown before i left. i spotted the stains and then encapped the whole carpet afterwards. was that the right order of application?

That was an OK way to do it, however you probably could have got the job done using LESS Encap-Spot.

If there is a brown stain from coffee/cocoa then you'll want to use a coffee stain remover.
We don't sell a coffee stain remover at this time, however Releasit will be introducing one within the next few months.
