Be sure:
you are honest. Don't know the answer? Say "I don't know that answer, but I will in the morning."
you provide a test cleaning.
you have lots of time and not rushed.
you plan what you are going to do and say.Don't wing it!
the carpet has time to dry before traffic gets back on it.
you have all suppiles, equipment, before you start the test cleaning.
you are in front of the one who holds the Gold.
you ask what system they are using, HWE,...
you listen, and make notes.
you ask why you are there. Did someone quit of get fired.
you listen, and make notes.
you expect to be hired.
you believe are the best person for the job.
you take 2 hours to make your equipment is spotless. And I mean spotless!
your uniform is pressed. Big account? Get a new uniform.
you have freash breath, clean nails, new haircut.
your shoes are polised. Better yet.. get new shoes.
you have written referrals, and a certificate of insurance.
you don't over sell!
you recognize if you have the deal. Stop sell'n and start thank'n
you have 8x11 color photos of your work for them to keep.
you listen.
you present a cleaning schedule printed with times and dates.
you get the estimate to them the same day.
you follow up the next day to see how your test cleaning looks.
you listen.
you ask them when you can start the program.
you ask if they have any questions.
you ask how they want to be billed.
you listen.
you tell them you want the job and you will exceed all expectations.
you thank them for their time.
you deliver!!
