Rick,

I sent an e-mail to three local school corporations stating what problems I can solvde using en-cap. One corporation call in a few days and said they were having the same problems i claimed to be able to solve. I was asked to do test cleanings in all five schools and provide an estimate, meet with the Principals and answer any questions the custodians may have. The latter was the challange.

I got the call friday that they wanted to do business with me. I was very humbled and thankful.

I appreciate the opportunity Cimex/Releasit had given me. It has truly changed the way I offer Carpet Cleaning. After I get this first "big" under my belt I plan to take my show on the road.

I will need an additional Cimax and a cargo van. I'll call monday to get information on leasing. I also plan to see my banker for interest rates.

Again thanks for your support and time.

Hey Jamie,

That was a treat to hear that!
Thanks for letting me/us know how you're doing.

It's exciting to hear when a cleaner is successful. And letting others hear about your new account helps them see that it isn't all that challenging. A little effort is all that's required. When it comes to landing new accounts it's usually the first door that's the hardest (your OWN front door).

Your enthusiasm is infectious! I wish you the best as you carry this experience forward and multiply your succe$$es. Wishing you all the best. If there's anything I can do to assist you in any way just call, that's what I'm hear for.

Keep up the good work

I loved Ed York....

February 13 2007, 8:53 AM

I never will forget when I was attending one of Ed York's Cleaning College in Vancover, he had his people bring in ice and water from the hotel meeting room and dump in into the portable extractor (if you can imange ice cubes floating ot top of the water in the solution tank) and then they proceeded to clean a nasty sofa with it. Several times in the last month I have had to clean an investor rental home that had no hot water and it still can be done. I am always reminded of Ed in times like that. One of the points being, you did not need a fire breathing truckmount to clean with. The universal solvent (Water) Agitation and the right chemicals were more important. Ed was always challenging the way you thought about cleaning and your business. I first met him after joining SCT when it was headquatered in Greenville, South Carolina. He was one of the most intelligent person I have ever met in this industry. I am sure Paul Lucas of ChemMax would agree.
