brushes vs. pads

Hi guys,
I'm new to the board and was hoping to get some advice
on using pads or brushes on my cimex? My supply house
recommended brushes as their best method. Seems like most
of you are using pads. Also I use a product called liquid grab,
is this any good? Majority of carpet is commercial.
Thanks for the help.

Can't remember last time I had the brushes on mine. On commercial I use the grey pads probably 75%+ of the time.

I used brushes for years. Rick got me to try the pads and they do clean better. We still use the brushes some when the carpet isn't heavily soiled. The brushes don't wear out.

Rick's products are the creme de crop! And that's no bull, Chuck.

Thanks guys, I think I'll pick up the pad drivers and give
it a shot.

Depends on the type of commercial carpet. If it is a low plush commercial I think having the brushes would work better. It would stir the solution into the fiber better.
