| I have a small eye Dr office in 2 weeks, CGD type loop. Doc tells me "hey, carpet held up for seven years, never had it cleaned" then he ask me what do ya think. I felt like saying your a cheap SOB.
Spots, spills and traffic lanes everywhere. Then he had the nerve to ask me "Can you get all the spots out"?
I plan on using the max pads on this job. Any other ideas?
I was thinking of using punch as a pre spray and DS in the Cimex.
Any other ideas, besides slapping this guy in the head a few times.
But hey, he did have a really nice Vet parked out back. He sure doesn't spend his money on carpet cleaning.

hiyas Joe, sounds like you got it figured out. personally i am not a fan of pre-spraying Encap. i'd just add the Punch to the EncapClean in the sol tank.
thanx --- Derek. |

| Punch it Out.... | February 27 2007, 2:48 PM |
Joe, when I am asked that question, I automatically say; Absolutely! I can get all the SPOTS out, it's the STAINS I will have a little trouble with, and then I explain the difference between a spot and a stain. Right away they know they are dealing with a professional and not some hack. It useally goes well after that. Mixing Punch and EncapClean; on a job like you are describing, I would pre-spray Punch, give it a little dwell time and then clean with EncapClean.(sorry Derek) I have tried it both ways and pre-spraying works far better IMHO. |

I guess I had better order some punch and max pads. After reading the above posts I too have a nasty carpet to clean in two weeks. Nylon multi level loop in a doctors office. Got my fiber pads and encap clean ds today. Machine should arrive tommorow or Thursday. Can't wait!!! Don't know if I'll have a chance to try it until next week though. Very busy with my janitorial service. We start another new account this weekend. |

sometimes you might need the brushes preferrably the aggressive grout ones to rub out the spots but you really MUST take your time when using the cimex machine in order to get the max out of your mex good luck |

Joe,
I like applying all of the solution through the tank (maybe because I have a pump-up sprayer). For heavy soil I boost with punch. This chemistry seems to support the old adage: if a little works, a lot must really work, though the recommended amount does just fine for me in most cases. I tend to like the FP pads better than the Max pads. I think the FP pads emulsify and hold soil better, but I did see last night that someone was considering using 1 Max pad and 2 FPs...that makes sense to me. Good luck with the job! |

Thanks for the info. I am looking forward to getting started with this new method of cleaning. |
