marketing to small biz?

do any of you have samples of letters or whatever you give to small biz and stores?... there are a TON of them around here... i've got some ideas of what to put but hopefuly some of you have some sugestions

Easiest thing to do is just walk in and say Hi. I got many small mom and pop retail stores when I first started by just going in and "shopping." When they get to talking to you just mention you clean carpets and would love to give them a quote. If they do have a product or service you need give them a little business and they will probrably return the favor.

I have found using the telephone is by far one of the best tools
for effective use of my time. If someone shows interest then I will pay a visit to their place of business. The way is to send a sales letter or postcard then call them.
