| hooraaay! I am happy to announce that i will be putting my new cimex to work its first cleaning on Saturday. I peviously cleaned a police sargent's carpet in his home with an old 15" rotary and followed up with a thank you for your business letter and some reminders every other week. And just as Rick said, as soon as he got an itch guess who he called to scratch it? HE wants me to clean the police station. Boy, is he in for a big surprise!!! I haven't used this machine yet so it will be trial and error for me. I recieved my cimex monday and just been sitting and looking at it. (smile) It looks great? My only draw back is my old kirby for some reason sucks up really nice but it spits out a whole bunch of dust so its like defeating the purpose. any sugesstions? Hey this will prove to be a forgleam of what will take place for me in the commercial market. By obtaining a top quality cleaning machine and making practical application of the awesome marketing strategies.

if you have the sheckles, check out the Lindhaus vac Rick sells.
if $ is LOW, then check out a $70-$80 Bissel Cleanview (or Clearview, can't recall name) at Walmart. they look real cheap and are but it will get the job done until you can afford a proper Pro vac.
leave that dusty vac of yours at home is my recommendation.
thanx --- Derek. |

curious to know if grease from the food or the cake and all that oily junk thats left behind in the carpet how would it affect the x-vac and the vacuum?
How would you rate the linhaus against the conquest.?

In my area there are a few vac shops that sell new & used vacuums. I have had good success with the residential version of the Hoover Conquest, which is the Concept. If you can find one of those & have the shop put a 50' power cord on it, that will serve you for a while. The one I bought used 10 years ago is still being used by my daughter in her cleaning business. |

OK, I now I will take some flack for this but I really like my Bissell Clearview with the power nozzle attachment. The Wal-Mart $89.00 vacuum has my $1500.00 Rainbow sitting lonely in my trailer. It costs me more to get my Rainbow serviced then to buy a new Bissell.
And I just LOVE showing customers all the dry soil I get in the dirt cup. Of course I also show them my dump water from my portable if I am doing HWE, or even the dirty water in the Sprint hopper.
For me the bang for the buck is outstanding. Just don't buy the $49 cheapo model. My girlfriend did that (I took her checkbook away, and took the vacuum back for an upgrade).
Oh yeah, spring for an extra set of foam filters too, maybe even two sets.
