Nice looking! Reminds me of a lowered 944 porsch. was wondering if the residential high cut pile carpet would put strain on motor?

The motor is STRONG. In side by side tests with the Rotowash it did not bog down under load, the Rotowash did.

Oh, I forgot to mention...
NO PLASTIC GEARS to replace.
Instead it has 2 cogged belts (left and right).
Plus it is really maneuvarable.

Currently there is just one set of brushes. The brushes that it comes with now are not overly aggressive, and should be suitable for all types of commercial carpet as well as most residential carpets. More brushes are being developed and they will be released soon.
A sprayer model has been designed and should be introduced within the next couple of months. I've been told that it will be approximately $500 more than the current model.

| ICapsol with sprayer or Sprint then? | March 19 2007, 6:32 PM |
Rick,
When would you choose an ICapsol over the Sprint then? What would be the differences?
Thanks,

The specs. say 17" cleaning path, but the brush width is only 16". I hope that when they say the motor is 1/2 hp it doesn't turn out to be 1/3 hp LOL |

Del,
Both machines are very good. It's just a matter of what suits your needs best. Kind of like comparing a Chevy to a Ford. The Sprint has on-board solution and it can be used to clean and dry hard surface floors in addition to cleaning carpet. That makes the Sprint pretty special. The ICapsol is a cylindrical brush machine. And it is a very good one. I feel that ICapsol has a bit of an edge when it comes to carpet scrubbing (for one thing it collects the carpet crud as you scrub). Yet the Sprint is very effective too. So it comes down to choosing which machine will fit into your cleaning operation. They are fairly similar in that they both are cylindrical scrubbers. And either machine can serve you well.
Ray,
You're a trip. LOL
Don't forget that a 17" floor machine uses a 15" driver

So, it appears that when the on board sprayer is ready this machine will cost about the same as the Sprint. Doesn't that make the Sprint a better deal since it can be used on hard surfaces? |

That is a sharp looking unit. Couple of additional questions, I'm also wondering if it would work to scrub tile and grout. If not now, maybe when they get some of the additional brushes made for it? Also, any chance of seeing some pics of the bottom of the unit to see the collection tray? Any idea how big the tank will be when they put that on it?
Do you see this unit as roughly equal in quality for encap carpet cleaning as the Sprint? (given each might have a strong point or two over the other)
Thanks. -Grant |

I will try to get some pictures of the bottom added as soon as possible.
It would be great for scrubbing tile and grout. The current brushes will work fine, just give the chem some dwell time.
I feel that the ICapsol will scrub carpet slightly better than the Sprint. But that is just a small margin of improvement. Both work well.
