pad drivers

Help was doing a job today and my 6 month old pad drivers separated. any idea on how to reattach the holder disc to the rubber/foam back part. Need the machine for the beginning of the week. Thanks for the help.

A 6 month old machine should still be able to be covered under warranty.
You can contact the office on Monday and we can assist you with that.

Or you can use 3M Super Weatherstrip Adhesive

The 3M Super Weatherstrip Adhesive is the only stuff I know of that will hold the driver material together as good or better than new. Just clean up the old adhesive and scuff up the surface with sand paper. And glue it back together.

Here's the description from 3M's website: Bonds gaskets and weather stripping to metal surfaces. Withstands vibration and temperature changes. Resists oils, fuels, detergents and grease. Strong, and flexible bond. - (I added the bold to show you why it's good for pad drivers)

Thanks for the fast help. Found the adhesive that Rick was mentioning and had the driver fixed and using it in an hour.
