These machines are seriously impressive! I had only played with one when we got set up to sell Windsor equipment. Now that they are in stock and I've had a chance to really examine the machine closely I can see why they won the 2006 ISSA Innovation Award... These machines truly are an innovation!
And at our current sale price of $1295 it's a killer deal! They deliver tremendous bang for the buck. I am really EXCITED about these machines (if you couldn't tell).

P.S. The machine is built like a rock! The weight is concentrated low on the machine, so it really exerts a lot of energy toward scrubbing the carpet. Some folks had commented earlier that they thought this machine looked wimpy or lightweight. I assure you, it is anything but. Bob Wittkamp and I were comparing the iCapsol to the PileMaster at the office today. The iCapsol appeared to scrub more deeply and it seems to be built a bit more stoutly too. Conclusion: the iCapsol is an extremely capable cylindrical scrubber!

Where were you 5 years ago when I purchased my GLS?
The only complaints I have with the GLS is the brushes don't turn fast enough for me. I wonder how the brush speed of your machine compares to the GLS?
Also, I don't think the GLS is quite heavy enough at 35 lbs. (Without solution tank and auto sprayer). I add 5 lb's to mine and that seems just about the right weight.
I like the idea of a debris bin. If it actually WORKS, it will be a big selling point for you. |

Rick, did you have one of these at Mikefest? If you did I missed it. I would have liked to have seen it.

Marty,
The collection tray works pretty well. As you probably know, the GLS and the PileMaster are the same machine, and we've had a couple of years working with and selling those machines. This new machine has some advantages IMHO. The engineering of the iCapsol is well thought out. The folks at Windsor really put some creative juice into the design.
Brian,
No, unfortunately we didn't have one at Mikefest. We just received our first shipment of iCapsol machines today.

The collection tray looks to be in the right location, rather than on the outside like the Pilemaster.
Is the machine as quiet or quieter than a GLS or Pilemaster?

The sound level seems to be similar to the PileMaster. It doesn't appear to be any louder.

How do you know when the collection tray is full? Do you have to stop and manually inspect it, or can you tell during operation from the standing position? |

If you were to use this machine to scrub Tile and Grout would the tray fill up with slop, or can you run the unit without the tray.

You will want to pull the tray every couple thousand feet and clean out the tray. It's very easy to do.
The tray can be left in while scrubbing a floor.

| It is very quiet | March 27 2007, 5:42 PM |
The iCapsol is just a little bit louder than the Cimex (incrementally). I don't have decibel readings.
The X2 was LOUD; this machine is belt driven and it's fairly quiet to work with.
The machine hums along with a mild whir. No ear muffs required
It's definitely quieter than your vacuum cleaner, so your slogan can remain unchanged.
