"So What's This New System?"

April 16 2007 at 4:53 AM
Stu

I'm having a few issues putting together an acceptable speil when explaining Encapsulation. 'WHOOPS'.
See what I mean. Most regular clients don't care what I do -they know that it's done well.
As were all fairly new to this Low Moisture System in Australia; 2 to 3 years; to stay ahead of the pack & to be unique, you'll all agree we must sell the benefits. But when a 'total nut job' stares you in the face with a million questions and asks - 'So what's this method called?', ... I'd love to hear your personal experiences & responses.

Shorty has seen the light and changed his ways. Sorry Shortwun.

Less Is More.

i say as little as possible and let the results speak for themselves. beyond that, i remind them that i guarantee my work, if they are not happy then it is free.

beyond that if they are still "nuts", which i haven't come across yet, i reckon i would ignore them and continue to work.

take care --- Derek.

look in the IICRC S100, its called the SHAMPOO METHOD!!!

it really is a shampoo process done with 21st century cleaning compounds. The products don't really leave that much "crystal" behind, fact is, it's the detergent that gets the soils off the fiber so they can be removed by a vacuum, so in essence, your dry soil remover is your best weapon along with new chemistry!!!

SELL CLEAN CARPET, NOT CARPET CLEANING!!!!

Here's a quote you can use...

April 17 2007, 11:04 AM

"We will analyze your carpet’s wear, traffic and soil conditions to establish the best care for your carpet. Then we will establish a program to properly maintain your carpet using methods specified by the carpet cleaning industry’s IICRC standards."

You could also add...

"There are many different methods of commercial carpet care.

Low moisture methods, encapsulation technology, hot water extraction, dry soil management. Each method has its place in the commercial environment.

Our staff will inspect your carpet and then tailor a program to keep it looking its best day-in day-out."
