parts order from Rick.

1st thing i can think of is boil some water and pour it into your sol tank and then clamp the trigger down and see if that "dissolves" any build-up.

or better yet, fill the sol tank up 3/4 and leave a bucket heater in for several hours with the trig wide open. make sure it is outside in the yard of course.

thanx --- Derek.

BTW, when you pry the caps off, did you try cleaning out the plumbing with a turkey baster cleaner? it is a long wire with bristles on the end...i think they use something similar for gun cleaning???

At the hardware store you should be able to find a brush used for cleaning the tubes of a paint spray gun pretty reasonably. I keep several of these around to clear such problems up. Also maybe taking the machine out side and reverse flushing with a garden hose at the clogged feeds after lancing them will further clean & un clog.

If you’re hose barb that attaches the feed tube from the solution tank to the Bezel has snapped...to get the machine back in operation I used a 1 inch piece of tube from an old trigger sprayer to stint the connection. It drips a little sometimes but it has been so convenient that I have kind of stuck with it. I use my Cymex for Many different applications so rinsing between different chemicals is a normal routine.

Another thing you can do is use a wet dry or the vacuum on your extractor and suck through the supply line in the tank. I don't know if that sounds right but...

Advice from Dr. Rick

Lots of good ideas above!

You said you cleaned the plumbing but still have a problem. That's not uncommon. It's kind of like the patient who receives heart surgery and then has a stroke following the surgery. In the case of the heart patient, a chunk of plaque is freed on account of increased blood-flow and when it gets to the brain a stroke occurs. Same thing happens with the Cimex. You clean out the plumbing. But then a loosened chunk of crud can become lodged somewhere else in the system. And when that happens your Cimex will act like it's having a stroke too (or maybe you'll act like you're having a stroke).

Simple answer. Your Mex may require a secondary or even a thidary cleaning (is thirdary a word).

Take a coat hanger wire, or a thin screwdriver, and scrape it around inside the plumbing ports real good. And then blast plenty of water form a garden hose spray nozzle through the system. Be thorough about it --- you don't want to cause a stroke and end up with a malpractice suit.

This will get you back in business again.
