Our little secret: Baneclean lemon. Mix it into the tank when cleaning. They have several other fragrances as well. I bet you'll find the one you want.

There are essential oils that you can use with release-it/ds and it won't lose the integrity of the DS. Do a search on the forum
i remember Rick mentioning that a teaspoon or two won't hurt it.

theres a link to purchase the oils many different flavors.

Thanks

Many people like the smell of Tea Tree, so go ahead and add a little, but not too much. It'll even kick up your cleaning a notch.

thanks Rick and all but maybe I'm not clear.
The guy wants our apple deo.

another thought I had was Kill Odor Plus - because they say it is an encap product...perhaps just a bit?

but the guy really wants the apple deo that we sell/use I just want to know what it will do to the releasit.

Alex, a teaspoon of essential oil would be WAY TOO MUCH! Using a few drops of any essential oil (at the most) is all that you would normally ever want to use.

Ken, if the custy insists on deo then the custy gets what he wants. I would suggest only misting the carpet lightly following the normal cleaning with Releasit. You will be leaving plenty of scent in the room and there shouldn't be enough deodorizer in the carpet to mess up the crystallization of the Releasit.
