Self Contained Extractors

Brian

Hi,

Is there quite a few on this board that are using SD on residential? I have been looking into one of these type of units for the tool box. Is anyone using the Agitator 20 for residential? I know that the flow rate is allot less than the SD, but maybe for residential the AG 20 would be better?

Thanks,

Brian

I have the AG20 and I like it. I know the flow rate is much less than the SD but it in real life seems like a heck of a lot, and has proven more than adequate, especially considering the agitator bar. Also easy on the eyes. No accomodation for upholstery tools like the SD is its biggest drawback. But it works as advertised and doesn't take up much space in the van.

Yup. Not often - I usually OP, but have used it several times for a quick flush on traffic areas.

Looks like a nice machine, however for residential if you needed something to flush the stairs could this unit do that? Also...not being able to do upholstery would be a dissadvantage for residential cleaning.

Yup. Not good for stairs or uph. I use a little heated spotter for that.
