Cimex traffic timeJune 8 2007 at 2:52 PM | Anonymous |
| When cleaning an area that may have traffic and may not be able to stay off a full 2 hours. What can I expect, will the solution be removed unable to crystallize? Will it resoil quicker or will the traffic soil crystallize as the solution drys. I will also be doing some night work after hours commercially if its not dry when I leave and not vacuumed until closing the next day what can I expect. |

You should have no problem at all. I often do hotel lobbies that can not be shut down. So, people are always walking on them. One of the neat things about Releasit is that you will notice that even if someone should have to go across with soiled shoes, the solution continues to encapsulate and it just vacuums off really easy. The other thing that I like about Releasit over other encapsulants, is the strength of the crystal. We all know that the carpets in a commercial setting never get vacuumed as often or as good as they should. But, with a strong crystal, the soil will remain encapsulated and not break apart from the crystal and be redeposited. Some of the products I've played with had quite a powdery like residue which I would think would break apart from the soil if left under traffic for a few days and thus spoil the encapsulating effect unless vacuumed very soon afterwards before they got much traffic.
If I understand you correctly, it sounds like you are trying to post vacuum the carpet after you clean. The solution has to be bone dry before it will crystalize. So, I would not bother post vacuuming due to the fact that the crystal has not likely had a chance to form and vacuuming will have very little if any affect. Leave it to the custodians the next time they vacuum.

Jeff, if you are using Releasit and a Cimex from Rick, you will be OK, if you are using encapclean and a cimex from someone else you may have a problem, LOL |

The Cimex I'm getting from a local, good people and I want to keep the money local when possiable. However the unit comes with Encapuclean, I have already requested Releaseit but they don't carry it no one locally does. So I ordered some from Rick per your advice, I figured you been there done that and I'm just going there LOL. |

I used encapuclean for awhile. Then I used Releasit at the same building I had been using Encapuclean and was shocked at the difference. I ended up doing all hallways so there wouldn't be the obvious clean line. I felt a little embarrassed by the difference. You won't regret it. |

is the fact that Rick uses it in his own cleaning business. He has made sure it works better than advertised before he sells it. Not many chemical manufacturers own a cleaning business also.
