Aris

Just got my Cimex from Rick Thode here in Canada.

It's an interesting story...I had thought I'd wait a while and just keep using my rotary with the releasit DS through the solution tank. I was doing a 16000 square foot job (solo) on Friday night. I had done about 500 square feet and my right arm felt like it was going to fall off. I got a hold of Rick Thode on his cell at 8pm Friday night and even though he's about 1.5 hours away from where I was, he agreed to my request of getting me a Cimex that night. We met halfway and did the deal on the side of the highway. I went back and flew through that job and probably got it done about 4 hours quicker and my arm, back and the rest of my body felt just fine. Also, I had to re-do the 500 square feet I did initially...it looked terrible next to what I did with the Cimex.

Thanks Rick T. for the awesome service. With the Cimex, the CMS program, the truly amazing cleaning solutions and the Icapsol that's on it's way...I feel like I've got the tools to do the job right from now on.

Cheers,

Aris

Congratulations

Congratulations on getting a Cimex. We love both of ours. You will find more uses for it than you thought. We use one of ours in our oriental rug washing pit. Occassionally, we put them both to work on large commercial jobs. It sure is a whole lot better than using our TM.

If you would like to see our rug set up feel free to look at our website. www.pearsoncarpetcare.com Releasit really cleans rugs up nicely. We use it in the pit and sometimes we are able to just rug badger them and Cimex them. Just depends on the rug.

I'm really glad I was able to help.

Your story about the using the buffer and then using the Cimex next to it, kind of reminds me of when I first started listening to good stereo equipment. I thought I had a descent sounding stereo, it made me smile, to me it sounded great. Then a friend of mine ( he had the money) started looking for some really good stereo equipment. So we went to the high end shops with tube gear and speakers I never heard of before. Well the sound that I heard was as close as I could imagine angels singing. I actually felt like kicking myself for listening to it because now I was ruined. I couldn't afford that kind of equipment and I was now totally discontent with my system. Someday, I hope that I can afford that kind of beautiful sound.

Like so many things in life, we never imagine that things could be that much better until we see or hear them. Fortunately, the Releasit/Cimex system is so affordable, it just plain doesn't make any sense to tough it out working extra long and hard with buffing equipment to try and achieve the same results. I'm sure most of us would rather spend that extra time and energy with our family & friends.

Keep up the great work Aris!

Keep Smiling

Cimex and Tube Amps

June 12 2007, 6:04 PM

Hi Aris,

Welcome to the Cimex/Releasit club! Get ready to make money a lot easier than you ever experienced before. I'm glad to hear that Rick T could make the trip to help you. Rick always goes the extra mile to help his customers. He is a true asset to the Releasit gang up in Canada. And we are happy to have him associated with our products because of experiences just like this!

And Rick - not all Tube Gear has to be prohibitively expensive. I too have been bitten by the audio bug. You can find some very decent integrated tube amps that won't break the bank too badly. The PrimaLuna amp is an example of this as is the Cary SLI80 (my current amp) pictured below.

The comparison of a Cimex to Tube Gear was actually pretty good The two share some things in common. The technology of tubes and Cimex machines goes back over 70 years. Their value may not be appreciated by all folks. However discriminating cleaners and discriminating audiophiles can easily discern a clear difference. And last but not least, a man with a Cimex and a man with a tube amp will each be wearing a very large smile.

My modest tube amp...

I am listening to Big Bands from the 40s and 50s on a 11 year old Bose Acoustic Wave System that my wife got me for a Christmas gift as I was reading this post. Once you hear quality it is hard to go back. Last year my bride got me the Bose Acoustic Noise Cancelling headphones. It is like being at the Symphony. God Bless that women. BTW I love my Cimex too.
