It would probably work just fine. They work great on cleaning dishes.

I have used them on Cimex machines and rotary machines for removing haze on ceramic/porcelain, etc. I also like using a high speed buffer for buffing off haze. Works great.

P.S. Fill a spray bottle with plain water. And as you dry buff the floor - sprits a squirt of water onto the floor every few feet as you buff the floor. Avoid spraying so much water that you get the floor wet, you just want to apply a light mist of water to help pull the haze as you buff with relatively dry pads.
