I just finished cleaning my own wheat colored nylon low pile with my Cimex 48. My question is how much solution is enough? My consistency of solution is milky white swirls when I thought some was to much I dry wheeled to spread out. I used fiber plus pads in one room and the new carpet style brushes in another room I'll let you know which worked best after vacuuming. For better understanding on my part am I looking to just maintain wet pads or am I to visably see solution swirls? Rick I reviwed your video 3 times and its really not noticable or discussed on the videon however the video is very good info. Its been about 30 minutes since I finished and the carpet is damp not wet. I am using Mist & Bonnet came with the machine RickLOL I will be switching to Realesit DS when thats gone.

When you start to see the white appearance on the carpet, That's Enough. It doesn't take much time holding down your solution handle. If you get a little too much then just spread it around.

You're just looking for a very light even whitening of the surface to occur (when working with Releasit). One moderate speed wet pass, followed by a slower dry pass is usually sufficient. Getting the feel for the flow is the only learning curve, and once you have that down it's so basic any dummy can do it (even me)
