Okay, thanks

What would i use w/ this Makita 9227-C any idea's

I see the Makita 9227-C has a 7 or 8" pad all ready, but the pad doesn't feel that it would have enough to hold a bonnet?

Sorry I can't help you with one Steve I use a Craftsman 19.2 Cordless Drill with a side handle.

Either Rick G., Ray (Rambo), or one of the other gang can most likely help you with info on the Makita set up.

Lets back up for just a sec, your Makita will work perfectly. Actually in my opinion it will work better with your Makita than it will with a drill. Yes it does have a spindle that fits a drill. Rick went to a lot of trouble & expense to have it fitted with that spindle ‘cuase he figured most guys would have a drill handy rather than a variable speed right angle grinder. Just simply twist out the spindle and spin the driver onto your grinder and you’ll be a happy camper.

PS That’s how we use that driver for powder polishing marble tops. We spin it onto a grinder, we use a Milwaukee, and use Fiber Plus pads and it does a great job powder polishing smaller jobs.
