Orbital

Doing a dentist office plan on using Cimex, however some of the rooms are to small of areas to fit cimex in with all the dental equipment. My thought is to use my 13" orbital as needed. My question is should I use a bonnet or red pad for encapsulation on the orbital and of course I will pump spray Releasit DS down before going over with orbital becuase it doesn't have a solution feed. Any input appreciated.

Oh How I Love to go to the Densist office

Jeff, I do 7 different Densist offices and always use the 19" Cimex on them. If you will stand the handle straight up, you would be suprised how easy it is to get around the chairs and ect. The chairs all move to some degree. Any real tight areas can be done with a brush on the end of a pole. It is so much faster with the Cimex, and I think a swing machine would be harder to use. A GLS might be a option.

i've done 2 dental offices and both had TIGHT quarters in the examination rooms....did both with the 19" Cimex, often "standing" the machine up in certain situations as Rambo suggested.

if you can't then i'd use my smaller OP with a FP pad. i wouldn't use a red pad.

thanx --- Derek.

Never Red

June 27 2007, 7:59 AM

I would never use a red pad on carpet. A freind of mine bought a rotary and a case of red pads. We put it together and was testing out on the garage floor and bled red all over the floor. Also was doing a color seal job for a big commercial account and was near the maint dept they had a bunch of pads and a 13" red so I grab it to buff of the color seal haze again I was wiping up red on my cloth. If that had been carpet yikes!!

RickL is right... NEVER use "red pads" on carpet. Color transfer often occurs. Our 12" FiberPlus pads will fit onto the Oreck Orbiter. Those are what I'd recommend... http://www.excellent-supply.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=5&idproduct=4

Did a dentist's office 2 weeks ago...used 19" cimex for wide areas (Halls, etc.) and the 15" cimex for the tight areas around chairs - works well!! Having one of each is excellent - my 14 yr old boy is helping me over the summer - he takes the 15 and i'm on the 19....
