Hey Gang

i did my second commercal job with the cimex. 2000 sqft software development firm. 3 styles of carpet. cgd brown wool was 1200sqft, 400 sqft nylon grey and 400 black base with mutli coloured loop.

2 issues i had both was with me the "OPERATOR" I seem to have a issue with getting the agent out with out a fight (priming), it doesn't seem to flow out. I have to wigggle the hose and then it will flow* pita* I was looking at the hose clamp below the tank it appears to be tight on the hose. But as i said onces i get it going it's a home run. Well i got off to a good start. *still using to much water* all in time. But ** dont laugh to hard** i forgot to add my agent into the water. and working away on the last part of the job and the carpet is getted damp but no foam. Hmmm

So i shut it off, went got my bottle of cold pepsi.. Oh yeah the dr. capper is missing. i said crap on a cracker.

add in, gave it stir not a shake!!  bammm.

they had sears in last year and the carpet looked odd it appear to be shaddy yeah know dark here light there.

Just on the wool carpet. The manager said they were not happy with the resault. i gave her a quote of $199.00

She said fine, It was funny, the manager said don't fell bad if your quote is wrong the last people said they diddn't think it was going to be such a big job. I say my quote is my quote... So i have to setup a program for regular yearly cleaning. So that is my 2 contract i admitt small but.

The Toronto maple leafs had to win one cup at a time.  "we all know what followed!!!

Atleast you can laugh at yourself. I recently bought a Cimex as well, have done a couple jobs so far. Getting use to the solution flow. Try this it worked for me once it starts flowing just feather the trigger occationally it does seem easier to control on longer runs because your pace doesn't change. It is getting more familiar the more I use it. I do like the machine though. July 4th I'm doing a restuarant that has seen better days I HWE monthly but it needs it more often. I beleive the pad is filled with crap so the low moisture and scrubbing should give me better results.

Hose

After sitting for a while the hose can pinch off (paticularly when it's new)
pull it forward a litlr from where it crimps off and roll it in your fingers a bit.
Getting it flowing shouldn't be a problem, getting it just right is experience.

When I have drained the solution tank completely at the end of a job, the next time I use it, it has a air lock between the cleaning head and the hose. I jus pull the solution hose off of the head hit the solution trigger and start the flow. Then put the hose back on and it flows just fine. So now I usually leave some solution in the tank at the end of each job.
