You normally have excellent customer service, so I am sure there is some small glitch somewhere that is preventing my "Lap Dog" checks from arriving.

I actually get more fun out of it, because it truly seems to distrurb Jimmy that I can be a positive poster.  I can honestly say that I used to be truly annoyed by people that were ALWAYS upbeat and happy- like what the hell have you been smoking- right?

Well now that I have learned to have a MUCH more positive attititude (a few really hard knocks helped) it is fun to torture those less positive people with positivity.  Jimmy thinks he bothers me- far from the truth.  He makes me look good and helps spread the positivity.

I use to like Jimmy and others. But man they have this wierd overly compulsive disorder about encapping. They just cant let it go. Ladwig has turned out to be a real jerk.

Mikey's Board (link in upper left hand corner of this page).  It is run by Mike P. a Vortex owner and staunch HWE guy.  Many of the posters there are very anti-encap.  Many are also banned at many of the other boards for their conduct and they wear it as a badge of honor.  So be careful you are playing with fire when you go there.

With that said many of them are VERY successful and are VERY knowledgeble about HWE cleaning.  And there are also some very fine posters that will not attack you or your methods.  But you stand a higher chance of being challenged as an encapper on that board.  I get along fine, because I have respect for all cleaning methods.  If you take protecting encapping too seriously then I'd avoid Mikey's Board altogether.

If you can stay positive and hold to what is right (for you) then welcome to the fray.

At times I agree and then I just remind myself that if we were all the same: A)  This place would be VERY boring and comedians would have nobody to make jokes about.  And   B) We would all clean carpets the same and really be subject to price shoppers and do it yourselfers so I just let them ramble and create their reputation.

I have a somewhat different view of both Mikey and Jimmy having met them both and of Mikeys board.

Jimmy is simply "keeping up appearances". He has been using GLS type vlm cleaning for years.

Mikey has a Cimex and uses it regularly though he is steadfastly against encapping residential carpet. He has welcomed cleaners of all types including Rick Gelenas and myself into his home.

Mikey's board has over 1,300 registered users. Out of this number fewer than 10 have been banned from the other boards and some folks have also been banned from Mikey's board. On Mikeys board you will find numerous people who manufacture, supply or use hot water both big truck and portable, Host, Von Shrader, Pading machines, Steamon Demons, Banes, Chem-Dry and Powder cleaning systems. But above all you will find far more multi-steppers than ever before in the history of cleaning.

I never learned anything from anyone that I agreed with.

The one correction I could make is:

The "MANY" should have read "A FEW", other then that it is accurate. 

Tony please correct me if I am wrong but it appeared to me that you think I have a bad opinion of Mikey's Board, Mikey and/or Jimmy.  I can assure you (and anyone else) I do not have a bad view of either Jimmy or Mikey as knowledgable and successful cleaners- even in the slightest.  And I have sponged some valuable learning from Mikey's Board too.

Jimmy's "keeping appearances" (as you call it) is his own style- Cool Beans for him, but at times it does make him look like a hard ass and/or a little left of center. 

I have a few close and personal friends that have personalities that you may call "an aquired taste".  I accept them for who they are, if I can't then I don't talk to them.  I post with Jimmy and Mikey, so I must accept them just fine.
