Question about Percarbonate

July 1 2007 at 4:52 PM
Matt

I recently had the opportunity to try some of it on my commercial jobs...but noticed NO results (I did first half without it then the second with). I first tried 1oz then 2oz per gallon...didnt want to use more than that..is there a particular type of carpet that it has good results with?? I think I may be missing something here...

There are different strengths of percarbonate, the best I've found is I think 35% pure @ www.klpro.com once in type in Oxy Blaster this stuff is great on trashed carpet I add 2 oz. per gallon with my normal prespray. You can also use on tile & grout to pop it some. I just used some today on an apartment that the carpet would normally been replaced. I HWE with RotoVac with Oxy Blaster to my normal pre spray. It cost $50.00 for 6 or 8 lbs. Worth it!
