What i have found for the best resualts with the eqipment i have.

prespray w/ punch and use my crb, i spray the carpet enouph that i see a light foam or hear it while i'm scrubbing. Then i setup my portable extractor, by that time the carpet is ready to be extracted. An op would be less work and i'm sure it would have great resaults.

I'll find that out down the road with a op machine.

Cimex it with DS and Fiber Plus pads just like GCD.

If you need extra soil removal and drying hit it with bonnets on your Cimex afterward, but most likely not needed.

That would be the preferred method, but all jobs can’t be done with this large machine. For me i have not got over the learning curves yet in regards to the stop and go areas.  Its fine for strait ways, but around a sofa or chairs and beds is still my preferred method.  I have done some Berber with the crb and the compound with poor results, even with pre-spray.

I got some 8” bonnets on the way for the cimex and my hand tool which will play a role in the over all cleaning.  I did a carpet yesterday that was beige w/ heavy traffic areas, so i sprayed my punch down and ran my crb over it. I was happy with just that really (100% improvement), but i still had to complete the job so i HWE. Over all it had good results, but less results with the hwe then with the punch/crb had. Maybe 20% better after the hwe.

My client was surprised that i got it that clean, it was really a replacement situation.

I’m also looking at the encap spotter; it would be nice not to have to extract the spotter like most of my spotters are.
