nice pic's
with encap/cimex i've never had to pre-spray with anything...wonder if i need to and/or if it would help...seems like just an extra step.
did you tab the tables or it wasn't needed?
thanx --- Derek. |

Only a couple of times have I presprayed. Never really had to, but I did it just to see. I think most of us have been HWE guys at one point in time and we think that prespraying will help. Encapping is different and prespraying is not usually necessary in my opinion.
Also, save those pics and put them on your website. Great job.

The reason I presprayed was heavy grease in areas, one of the board members had suggested it, I'm still a rookie at Encap. so I listened. No to tabs on chairs and tables had the air mover running so about 90% dry from one section to the next most everything had plastic feet also. From arrival to leaving 3 hours includes prevacuuming, moving tables and chairs,800 + SF so I did get to enjoy the rest of the day. It did eat up a set of Max pads on the job but heavy build up in spots. Starting to get better at my solution flow. |

Great looking job Jeff. The only time I pre-spray w/Punch is a greasy restaurant carpet. Most of us that were former truckmount guys had to learn not to pre-spray everything. Tabing was another thing I had to learn not to do every time I cleaned with encap. It is great to have the Cimex do all the hard work that we used to do while pushing the wand, back and forth, back and forth, well... you know what I'm saying. |

I helped a local friend do a office building on monday.. traffic lanes were very bad. I used hot water with normal 4 oz per gal DS and still could see some discoloration of the traffic lanes.
I was using the beige pads not max pads.. will that make a lot of difference in cleaning dirty traffic lanes and in cubicles. no real grease type stuff. they had asphalt parking area, concrete walkways and several walk off mats at front entrance.. cleaning people did a bit of vacuuming it appeared, but not real good ..
How large was the resturant and how much did charge them..
I am impressed with the pictures as to how clean you got the very dirty looking carpet in that place..

Carl- You should try those max pads, they cut grease and raod grime from the parking lot rear entrance at this job. I do think the Punch in areas of grease was beneficial. The job size was 800+ SF, 3 hours from open to close door to leave, including prevacuum, move tables, chairs, unload, load one person. .15 SF charged for job. |

Carl-
No help just me, monthly deal, avaerage price here for commercial is .09 SF. Alot of whores in the market. Had this job for quite a while. Now that I have the Cimex I should be able to cut the time some. |

sorry to hear your market has that problem. and glad to hear
with the cimex you are working somewhat less..
maybe you can get a local kid to help out and pay them 10 bucks for 1.5 hrs work. thats not a bad wage for a kid.
have a good one
