Solution S.F. coverage

Just to see if I'm applying the right amount of Releasit DS I thought I would see if my square foot coverage is about right 300-400 gallon mixed RTU

You are right on the money. I've always said that you should expect to clean about 300 sq ft per gallon of rtu. You're getting a little more than that so that's good. You're right where you should be.

By the way, a gallon of DS will make 33 gallons of usable rtu solution. So 300 sq ft per gallon of rtu times 33 gallons amounts to 9900 sq ft of carpet cleaned with each gallon of concentrate. Hence a 4 gallon case of detergent will actually clean over 39,000 sq ft of carpet. That's an end use cost of .003 cents per sq ft.

Another way to look at is this... For the sake of illustration, let's say you're cleaning at a moderately lowish rate of 10 cents per sq ft. You will generate $3900 with the case of Encap-Clean DS that you paid $130 for. The bottom line profit return is 30 times greater than your chemical cost!!! Not too shabby. The boyz on Wall Street would love to be able to see returns like that now wouldn't they?

Solution coverage

In regard to this, what do you suggest when pump up sprayers(Lowes Ortho, etc.) are used for the application of DS with the use of a CRB? It doesn't seem like we come close to that SF(Way more SF than 400 per gallon of RTU). Slow down and spray more heavily I guess would be the obvious answer. We probably use about 1 gallon of RTU DS for every 1500-2000 SF, probably not getting the full benefit of the product? Should we experiment and spray to where we can seen the foaming action with a Mex(in the video), but with our CRB's? I apologise this is probably a very rudimentary question, but perhaps will be helpful for me and also all the new iCapsol owners.

I don't get the same amount of foaming with my Sprint as I do my Cimex.  I am assuming that the ICapsol would be similar and not as much foaming as well.

However, I'd say yes you should be applying at least twice as much as you are now.  One reason I like the Sprint- tank on board- sprays right in front of the brushes.
