Hey all
What is your personal preferred method of cleaning TTCGD (totally trashed commercial glue down) when you know

(a) They only vac once every 2 weeks with a totally crappy vac.
(2) Once the superintendent sees you cleaning carpet she's excited that she'll NOT have to vacuum for 2 months.

ps. I wish I was kidding or exaggerating.

Thanks.

Ken

Take Your Time

I would start out lifting the pile with an XVPL. Then come back and do a slow thorough vac with my Quietstorm. I have to say once again that thing is like Micheal Jackson-"ITS BAD"! I enjoy my vacuum cleaner the most of all my equipment.

Analyze which stains are embedded real good in the fibers, get on your knees work most of them out. You will be amazed at the appearance once gone.

Then PWP the whole carpet scrub & let dwell. Then MEXmarize it with the most awesome solution you can think of, 6oz to a gallon. Don't skip any of the steps.Remember TAKE YOUR TIME and do it right the first time. then tell them if you want it to stay like this vac then everyday.

Thanks
Your Servant Alex

This depends on who my contact person is, if I have a relationship with the owner or not.

If I have a relationship with the building owner I would let him know about the building maintenance issues. Other wise I just grab my vacuum and start the cleaning process.
