Washing bonnets with bleach will not affect the next cleaning.

The Vento is an OP machine. Yet it's not like any of the other OP machines on the market today. It is more refined and more beautifully built. The entire machine is built from cast aluminum. It has a 1hp motor and it quietly purrs like a kitten. It runs smoother and quieter than other OP machines. And it is priced right too.

Bonnet cleaning trick

July 14 2007, 11:47 AM

Alex,

Here is a little bonnet cleaning trick that I learned that helped keep my bonnets whiter, with less bleach.  After you remove the dirty bonnets from your machine and change them out for a fresh one, throw them in a bucket of water- immediately and keep them saturated until you put them in the washing machine.  This helps keep the soil in suspension and from "locking" more into your bonnet's fibers.

I have heard some guys even place a small amount of their laundry dtergent in the water bucket too.  I have not, I have just used straight water.  But I did notice that they come much cleaner much easier after this method.

Make you own luck,

Alex, both are good. The Vento enjoys the build quality advantages that I mentioned above, such as a larger motor and all aluminum construction.

Vento

Rick, I read on a post or two about the Vento's wheels have issues being pulled over curbs or up stairs. I may also have read that has been changed. Can you enlighten me?

I plan on seeing you next week and am very excited!

No the wheel housing does not have full access at the most rear section of the wheels. I think that may be the only thing a person could possibly find to pick on this machine. Aside from that minor gripe, it is pretty impressive from the word go. When you get a chance to see a Vento and run one, I think you'll be taken in by its build quality and overall styling. Try not to drool

Javex Bleach works great with some liquid industrial laundry soap.
