Try this little trick if they call you on the carpet (ha ha) for ignoring the sign:

"Oh I am sorry, I felt like that would only apply to someone that was going to annoy you with frivolous information.  Not someone that wants to partnner with you for complete carpet care services and provide you an excellent service with phenominal value.  If you prefer I will no longer contact you again".

Yup.  Honestly think about it.  People put those "No Soliciting" signs up because they don't want to be flooded with lousy sales people with no imagination, humor, and/or valuable product or service. 

If you have something they need (which we do) they will listen and buy if approached properly.
