Pet Urine & Steamin Demon.

Any one use the steamin demon for Urine decon? Ive used it several times and half the time the smell returns. Ive been using STain and Odor (powder form) spray & set for 30 min and extract. I then bonnet over the area to dry it quickly, some times sprayin a little punch for added effect.

Anyone else use this combo? Is there a better way to do it?

A number of things could be done. Heres a few : be sure you've found the source. If you miss the source of the odor it never goes away. Next you want to find out the level of contamination, that you may decide what approach you will take.

The backing could be contaminated as well as the cusion.There could be a build-up of lipids. Then you need to make sure you are using the right solutions for the job,such as enzymes. It may be possible that you need to turn back the carpet.
I would think that the problem is not the Demon, I'd look into the other factors.

i like UR Out for dog urine.

i'd post this on Mike's forum as well...some more S.D. users there.

look up JB in particular...pm him. he is a HIGH-end resi CC'er and only uses a S.D.
